First of all Congratulations to you, if you got a call for an interview. You have already made a half way. Now, you just need to showcase your skills and impress your interviewer to get in to your dream job.
In this post we are going to talk about interviews in general.. which will setup your mind while looking or preparing for any interview.
First tip is that you should not think about clearing just an interview rather think like if you want to work for that particular group what skills you should have? What exactly they need in you to work with them. What is there requirement?
Now, the question is how will we get those answers? The answer is in the mail which you got from the HR. Look carefully for the "Job Description" in the mail which you got from the HR. If HR didn't send you please ask him/her. They will give you. You need to prepare for the topics they have written into the mail.
Now, You need to understand that
"All Interviews Are Different".
No one in this world can give you the exact set of questions that can be asked in any interviews. The reason is that there are multiple variables for an interview. We cannot predict for which Group you are giving interview or for which role? or For which requirement? or Who will be taking that interview and that particular interviewer would be in which mood? or From which collage you have studied and so on.. the list of variables are very long.
So, what are the constants? The answer is: There are few things like the process, Technologies, specific skills required for the particular group or role, HR related questions, behavioural questions etc.
There are few obvious questions you should be ready with the answers while going for an interview. The answer to these questions are already known to you but you need write it down to paper properly and memorize them. Yes, memorize them.
So, Let's see the type of obvious questions:
- Introduce yourself or Can you tell me about yourself
- Why do you want to join our company?
- Why are you best fit for this position? or Why should we hire you?
- Where are you seeing yourself after joining our company?
