These Obvious and Commonly asked Interview Questions, you must prepare in advance

 These are some of the obvious questions asked in the interviews. You MUST prepare the answers of all of them in advance. This will reduce your nervousness and you would be looking confident.



I will break this set into two parts. First one, for which you MUST be writing and memorizing the answers and second one which you should prepare.


Set 1: MUST have answers in advance:

  1. Introduce yourself or Can you tell me about yourself.
  2. How much experience do you have in this domain? or How much years of relevant experience do you have?
  3. Why do you want to join our company?
  4. Why do you want to join this project or this group?
  5. Why are you looking for a job change?
  6. Why do you want to leave your current company?
  7. What is you notice period?
  8. How much is your expected salary?


Set 2: SHOULD have answers in advance:

  1. Where do you see yourself after joining our company?
  2. Why are you best fit for our this role? or Why should we hire you?
  3. Have you worked with customers directly?
  4. Can we negotiate on your notice period?
  5. How did you know about the openings?
  6. What are your strength and weakness?
  7. How would you deal a non-agreement or resolve a conflict with your seniors?
  8. What is your greatest achievement?
  9. Have you ever failed to deliver commitments? How did you handle it?
  10. What are your hobbies?
  11. Tell me about your family.
  12. Why is there a Gap in your employment?
  13. What do you like most in your job?
  14. What do you most dislike in your job?
  15. Are you okay with relocation?
  16. In case we can't offer you the expected salary, would you join us?
  17. When are you available for next interview?
  18. How early can you join us?
  19. Do you want us to know anything else?
  20. Do you have any question?

These are the obvious questions, one interviewer can ask and you should be ready with the answers.
